They demand access to the public treasuries so that they can loot them.

They get access to the public treasuries by getting Democrats elected to public office.

Timing is everything.

Why is this big focus on statues taking place now?

The worst racists I had the DISpleasure of knowing are libs. Most leftists are that way, in a way they're worse than the klan, neo Nazis, skinheads, etc. at least those a*holes are honest about who they are. If you haven't done so - or even if you have - I think it is worth taking a look at this video of Larry Grathwohl, who infiltrated the Weather Underground back in the 70's. Those WU-types have now been firmly entrenched in government and the DNC for many years. I think what he describes in the video is their endgame, and maybe they feel like it is now or never at this point. But, I think this is where we are headed, sadly.

The dems went nuclear with this. A sign that they are desperate. Desperate to either change the narrative, shift attention, or stop progress made by Trump. Can't be the narrative, that's 100% "Trump is a meanie who is BFF with Putin" 24x7. Could be shifting attention, that would assume that something was getting close to them (the Awan investigation? Something we don't know about?). Stopping progress by Trump is probably partially true because he's getting a lot done within the bureaucracy (cutting regs everywhere).

But the question is, did they pick the right time to go nuclear? Ahead of the election after Hillary collapsed on 9/11 they were desperate so they went nuclear by releasing the Trump / Billy Bush tape. They thought that was a death blow but they underestimated Trump's ability to recover and they deployed it too early. Had it come out in mid to late October as I'm sure they originally planned it would have been the end. But they were ... desperate.

This stuff is hurting Trump. They are making sure every black person in the country will despise him and think he wants to murder them. Every jew will feel the same (they hope). BUT it's three years from the next election. Why now? is it simply because his favorability last week came perilously close to 50%?
