According to an August 11 article published by #Harpers Bazaar, anyone who is married to a supporter of President Trump needs to file for divorce immediately. Thats the advice given by the articles author, #Jennifer Wright, who cites two recent high-profile divorce cases in which a wife filed for divorce on grounds of irreconcilable political differences.
In July, a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader by the name of Lynn Aronberg split from her husband, Florida state attorney Dave Aronberg. The wife, who identified herself as a staunch Republican, claimed that she felt increasingly isolated in her marriage to a Democrat.
More recently, Deidre Ball, the wife of short-lived White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, filed for divorce partly because she was not a fan of Trump. Wright states that, in both cases, the couples made the right decision.
Although she only cited two examples, the Harpers Bazaar contributor insists that its impossible for a marriage between a Trump supporter and a non-Trump supporter to be successful because of a difference in values.
Supporting Trump at this point does not indicate a difference of opinions. It indicates a difference of values, stated Wright, adding that a spouse need not try to make it work if his or her significant other supports Trump policies.
In her article, Wright acknowledges that divorce may not be possible in every situation because of financial matters.
But if you do have those means? DIVORCE THEM, commands the author, using capital letters to drive home her point.
Wright attempts to bolster her argument by insisting that, under President Trump, the United States is on the verge of the second dark ages and that divorcing a pro-Trump spouse is the morally responsible thing to do.
The article also warns that trying to make a relationship work with a Trump-loving spouse will very likely be fruitless because, according to Wright, 81 percent of those who voted for the president still approve of him, and those hardcore supporters arent likely to change their opinion of the president.
Go find a partner who thinks nuclear war is a bad thing, she writes in conclusion, apparently convinced that every American who cast a vote for #Donald Trump is clamoring for war with North Korea.
Wright, an outspoken feminist, has contributed dozens of articles to Harpers Bazaar, most of which appear to take potshots at President Trump and his supporters. Her other offerings have also raised the eyebrows of some critics; on March 17, she penned an article slamming traditional families entitled Motherhood is Not a Womans Most Important Job, while her March 28 article, Why You Should Never Tell a Young Girl Her Outfit is Inappropriate argues that parents should not prevent their underage daughters from wearing revealing clothing.
Harpy Bizarre. Who takes advice from them?
She’s described as an ‘outspoken feminist’. That’s confusing to me since I thought that feminists always outspoke everybody else.
Alimony? What kind of money do you think I make? I was a bureaucrat at the unemployment office assisting veterans. She got the tiny 925 square foot house so I could keep my state retirement even though I bought the house before the marriage.
Anyone who acts that way about an election is mentally ill——and I’m not trying to be funny.
It’s truly pathetic.
(I did feel that way in 1986 though, when the Sox lost the World Series——but that’s different.) :-)
.
I divorced my wife who was both a bitch and a democrat.
It’s important anymore to see who the authors are of these lame brain articles getting posted......this gal Jennifer Wright is into heavy feminism and a totally social issues nutcase.
There’s lot of trashy writers and authors out there....this gal has some serious sexual issues as well. Did a bit of research on her. She’s clearly messed up in the head.
Not just a favor...then they will turn around and marry some Bernie-like loser character, and waked up in two years to realize that being a Democrat is a lose-lose proposition.
The advice I gave my kids when they got older was; it’s okay to date a democrat if you must, but don’t ever marry one.
Some of the best advice I gave my kids was to never marry a democrat.
Take him to the doctor and have him tested for "Low T".
My wife also supported Trump.
Hell is a place where reason has no play. The place where the feminist dwells...and people wonder why islam is taking over europe without a fight.
“I divorced my wife who was both a bitch and a democrat”
lolol
This is the beginnings of the great deception we are told would come.....they have no true faith or belief system so the universities fill them with the nonsense we see and hear....then they attach themselves to social issues they “Identify” with be it diversity and/or multiculturalism....which of course is inclusive for Muslims.....especially Muslims. This way they can all proclaim they are “World Citizens” of the global cabalists.
What man in his right mind would want to be married to this Jennifer wrong...er, Wright feminazi b*tch?
That’s probably why she isn’t married.....she’s a real fruit loop when it comes to relationships of any kind if you do a little research on her.
But then most of the under 35 writers today are like her in one form or another. I don’t pay much attention to most female authors to begin with today...they are just too screwed up in the head....with a few exceptions.
I didn't know the two words could be used separately.
The magazine “Harper’s Bizarre”? Never read it.
Average Harpers Bazaar wench ain’t married and has never been asked
Me neither
