Good one.

I like Usain Bolt. For one thing, he loves America.

Bolt finished 3rd behind two Tennessee Vols, Gatlin and Coleman. Coleman beat Bolt in the semifinals and in the finals.

Probably have to wait to see if Gatlin lights the lamp when he pees into the cup.

He dominated the 100 for a long time. Maybe the best ever tho I would like to have seen him and Bob Hayes at his best. I know his time is better than Hayes but Bob might have been as fast on the newer tracks.

Bolt was a great champion who loves and respects America. Justin Gatlin will be a great champion if he follows Bolt’s lead in how to act which I’m sure he will as he’s a fine young man.

Gatlin is older than Bolt. He is moving towards the end of his career as is Bolt. Doubt if either will be at the next Olympics.

Bolt is the best ever, no question. Quite apart from his out of this world times, he won both the 100 and 200 meters races at the Olympics THREE straight times. No one even comes close.

We are talking about the big boys winning on the big stage, not little boys. Talk to me when a former Gator beats the greatest sprinter to ever live.

I wonder why he’s continuing to race, what does he have left to prove?

It’s more than just tracks. It’s shoes and other equipment and even training regimens.

I would most like to see if Carl Lewis gets any better with 20-30 years advantage. The man was fantastic.
