Funny you should mention Hitler and Nationalism, because the Nazis actually HATED the concept of nationalism just as the Bolsheviks hated nationalism, denounced it as “bourgeoise”. Just ask Joseph Goebbels, he’ll tell you in the Dec 6th, 1931 issue of Der Angriff, and I quote, “the NSDAP [Nazi Party] is the German Left. We despise bourgeois nationalism.”
But I definitely agree with the rest of your post.
