Its ironic to think with Republicans holding the presidency as well as control of the House and Senate the conservative movement would still be in need of a national leader. The election of Donald Trump effectively made him the head of the Republican Party. For conservatives who accept the reality of the Trump presidency but who reject him as a conservative leader, people like Speaker Paul Ryan and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell havent exactly been inspiring.
There is one person who balances the task of delivering to conservatives intellectual leadership, without making it all about himself and that is Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse.

Yes Ben Sasse should be the leader of the conservative wing of the GOP -— that is like saying a pedophile should be the leader of the Boy Scouts! Sasse would not be on my top 25 list of who should be on the list, ConservaTeen would be a better leader than BS...
I find never Trumpers are all about "free trade" that we get screwed... cheap illegal labor were we get screwed...not offending Islam so we get screwed and just pay lip service to health care .......At this point Trump is far more pro American Conservative then Bush I or Bush II or McCain or Romney....
What his stand on Health Care? - What his stand on trade?
My, My, Two out of four - The Donald has done BUTCUS on Health care and trade. I hold out hope that something may be done by the end of this year.
BUT the Congress has to do this - So Yes Sassy is one of the people who needs to WRITE legislation for the Donald to sign
Looking all leader-like
LMAOOOO
These people have been trying for two years straight to bring Trump down. They still don’t get it. GOPe, WE HATE YOUR GUTS! MAGA!
He’s a punk and a sissy and a prima donna.
He’s also a nag and a snob who knows nothing of the working men and women who make this country run.
University boy, government boy, life on the effing public trough.
Screw him!!
If you think importing cheap labor is conservative......
South Carolina Republican?
You think Graham is conservative and all the rest of the Cheap Labor Express stooges representing your state.
So Red State is still firmly in #nevertrump territory. Some people are simply incapable of learning anything. F’em.
“Fool or tool”
Both.
Doesn’t make us angry — it makes us laugh our asses off. Very funny!
That one man would probably kick his ass for trying to get in front of him.
HA. No doubt.
I had such high hopes for both when they were elected...
;)
In fairness, Kelly Ayotte did it phenomenal job in guiding the Gorsuch confirmation process.
She ran as a Tea Party conservative, then voted like a McCainiac.
HELL NO.
Ben Sasse is a rino PU$$Y.
He’s just as bad as McCain and Graham.
True.
