After getting let go, I found another job in my field but we had to move 600 miles away.
It took 8 months to sell the house so they were at the old place and I was at the new town for quite a while.
Just after we moved back together, the boys asked about breaking glass and my wife called to see if I still wanted the award.
She posted a photo of them busting the award and my mom freaked out. She thought the kids were so upset about getting uprooted that they were lashing out.
We had to talk her down from the ledge about that one. It was just another fun homeschool experiment using something I no longer cared about.
