Suck It Up, Buttercup; You DID Build This Fire

Does anyone else find it curious that Jesse Jackson called for a presidential pardon of Hillary Clinton yesterday?

back at cha jesseJesse, leading the “Free Hillary!” movement

Mumbling his way through a prepared statement at the University Michigan in Ann Arbor yesterday Jackson said:

"President Ford said we don't need (Nixon) for trophy. We need to move on. President Nixon wasn't convicted of a crime. He didn't apply for a pardon. (Ford) did it because he thought it would be best for the country.

Had she won the election on November 8th the comparison between President Ford pardoning President Nixon for his assumed crimes may have made sense. Assuming you believe Hillary is guilty of something. Which apparently Jesse Jackson does.

"Hillary Clinton has not been tried, but there are those who want to drag her for the next three years. It will not stop until they find a reason to put her in jail. That would be a travesty."

Until they find a reason to put her in jail?” Like what, setting up a private server for the sole purpose of protecting her communications from public scrutiny via FOIA requests, setting her lawyers about to destroy evidence, and making classified materials available for foreign hackers? Or was he thinking perhaps about all of the crimes committed by the Clinton Foundation’s “Global Initiative” scam to fund Bill and Hillary’s lifestyle and her presidential campaign?

Never mind all that, remember when Trump said “pussy?” We were not amused.

And as Jesse pointed out yesterday, Trump’s the one who caused this horrible mess and it’s up to him to fix it.

"The one who set the field afire must be the one to put it out," he told the Free Press in a one-on-one interview. "He had the option to pour water on it (the dry field) and let it grow. He didn't do that — he chose to light it on fire. One of my concerns is that we see the division in America now because of that. We see classmates, roommates in a conflict over the way the campaign turned out.

Gee, yeah, who would pour fuel on a volatile fire like that?

BLMFire-600-x-400Paging President Obama! Fire in aisle 3! Accelerant needed!

Oh look! Another pussy!

So suck it up, buttercup. You DID build this fire. And it DOES make a difference.

Praying wisdom to Donald Trump to do the seemly thing here.

JJ should’ve been distributing play dough, coloring books and bubbles...something substantive at U of M (/sarc)...instead of his rehashed rhetoric.

The pied piper is luring loonies out of the “safe spaces”?

(Ford) did it because he thought it would be best for the country.

Ford did it because he was a typical RINO suck-up, covering the tracks of the Stupid Party.

In a country with the Rule of Law, jesse jackoff would be in prison for his crimes. This guy is a malignancy on civilization.

One of the best things about the Trump trouncing of the Democrats is that Wall St. “experts,” Soros, Leftist corporations, Silicon Valley tech-snobs, and our enemies abroad all lost millions propping up the Clinton cadaver in this election. It couldn’t happen to a more deserving group, and the thought of them watching the Red Tide of Trumpism engulfing all but the skinny blue coasts of the US on election night always brings a smile to my lips and a song of thanksgiving to my heart.

Maybe so, but I personally was sick of the whole lynch-mob atmosphere during the Watergate hearings.

The Watergate business dragged on and on. It was one droning, self-important, pompous personage after another. The ugliness of the Left really impressed me at the time ... and I was not a conservative in the '70s.

To me it was a relief that Ford pardoned Nixon. Even at my young age I was able to see that this was a phony, ginned-up prosecution. We didn't know yet about the vicious young Hillary, who was helping lead the charge; but there were plenty of her ilk hanging around the proceedings, baying for Nixon's utter destruction.

It would be politically prudent to wait until she is charged with something, before letting her off the hook (contingent upon her never writing a book, never being interviewed by anyone, never doing anything on social media, never speaking before a group larger than three American citizens, never speak to anyone from a foreign country, never leaving Martha's Vineyard-even in the Winter, and never ever leave Bill's side...handcuffed if required.)

Ford did it because it was best for the country. Congress would have behaved as a Special Prosecutor, and Nixon would have had all the justice Scooter Libby got. Of course, Ford then should have withdrawn from consideration for the Republican nomination, leaving the field open to Ronald Reagan. But that would have been anathema to Ford; even in 1980 the GOPe ran Anderson as a third party candidate . . .

And of course had Ford done so, Reagan possibly could have been defeated by Carter in ’76 - after all, in 1976 America didn’t know what a lashup the Carter Administration would prove to be. Nor could Reagan have been in office in the mid-late ‘80s, when he was needed.

Boy! That’s for sure. I heard Rush while I was in the car and he imitated his mumbling. Priceless. I was saying - I don’t understand a single word he said when he started mimicking him.
