Even though this was a parody....I tell where this will lead onto....everyone underpaying their taxes owed. So if you estimated your yearly taxes at $7,500....instead of sending off monthly $800, and getting a refund back....you will underpay it by a thousand minimum.
Personally, I think that IRS ought to notify you within 72 hours of a suspected abuse of your number....and if they fail to do it....they ought to be forced to send you a check for $1,000 for their screw-up.
