Excerpted from The Daily Mail: Arizona Sen. John McCain is the latest Republican to run away from comments made by Donald Trump, who criticized a Muslim-America Gold Star family who shamed the GOP nominee from the Democratic National Convention stage.
McCain told Khizr and Ghazala Khan, ‘thank you for immigrating to America,’ while expressing how much he disagrees with Trump over his call to ban non-American Muslims from entering the United States.
‘In recent days, Donald Trump disparaged a fallen soldier’s parents. He has suggested that the likes of their son should not be allowed in the United States – to say nothing of entering its service,’ McCain wrote in a statement released Monday morning.
‘I cannot emphasize enough how deeply I disagree with Mr. Trump’s statement. I hope Americans understand that the remarks do no represent the views of our Republican Party, its officers, or candidates.’

I keep forgetting how much I despise him and then he pops up again to remind me.
It’s frightening that there are voters out there who are so stupid (or evil) that they will actually vote for despicable people like McCain and Ryan.
Trump gets attacked by this khan and responds and that means trump hates our war dead? Trump’s the only one fighting for a strong military and promised veterans care.
McCain is an idiot. He intentionally threw his own election, and now he’s siding with the democrats again.
