Consistant Perfection in mis-information is actually valuable.
Why no “Barf” alert?????
His example of the all paid vacation hit me as hard as the Koran stunt. I actually was told by a cruise employee that I could not go out on my own to visit a nearby marina.(They wanted me to pay for one of their excursions.)I said, "Like hell I can't! This is Hawaii and I'm an american citizen!)And with that I just walked out the gate.
The people at the marina were very friendly and gave me all the information I needed, should I ever get there with my sailboat.
Glad you enjoyed it and pass it on. Most people don't even know that they are being victimized by organized propaganda.
Cheers!
No joke.
Crooked Hillary gets called out for absolutely nothing and the fact that she hasn't given a proper news conference during practically the entire campaign is disgraceful. Not that it would matter much if she did. The media would simply lob softballs at her such as what is her favorite ice cream flavor and "how is Bill holding up under the strain" and other such nonsense.
The typical "gotcha" tactics and the late night show mockery that worked so effectively on Sarah Palin, Dan Quayle, Newt Gingrich and other conservatives are backfiring big time when applied against Donald Trump. Our nominee may be a little rough around the edges but we love him for fighting back and giving no quarter. The more the media and establishment elites attack him, the more eagerly we are going to come out in November and pull the lever for him. Consider our November vote a big middle finger to those folks.
A better term (”better” being relative) is elitist media. I’m sure I’m not the only who notices that a regular Joe getting killed doing their job is a page A14 byline unless it can be somehow sensationalized. When a reporter gets killed on the clock, it’s a national day of mourning (re Danny Pearl, Alison Parker).
Exactly, what are they going to tell me that would make me vote for Hillary? Good luck.
Hahahahaha. Yeah, it's pretty easy to "herd" or "cow" people into submission. I think his point was that the suckers have to believe they are reaching their own (legitimate) conclusion via rational means. That unlike a prison where people can't get out, they are free to get out, just discouraged. he used the terms "controlled opposition" and "intellectual gatekeepers," That's Rush Limbaugh's role, the "authorized dissent." Having some range of permitted belief is necessary, otherwise people will KNOW they are being herded.
I learned long ago that truth is hard to come by - it's hard enough in a small factory, never mind a whole town, county, state or country. It takes work to find the truth, so much work that it is rarely worth the effort.
Meanwhile, on political news, I think everybody knows the press is pure propaganda on both sides - that there is essentially no truth at all in that reporting. I'm a little surprised the press hasn't given it up, but then again, the pay must be acceptable. It's a good (acting) gig if you have the chops and lack of conscience. The press has a "trustworthy" rating that is around 10%, same general place that Congress is.
This is the best election season ever. Trump knows all of this, intuitively at least, he probably doesn't use the academic vernacular, etc. He knows he can walk out the gate. He knows he doesn't have to follow the actors' template. It's as though a person in the audience has become more entertaining than the actors and "fake audience" actors. The new guy is going to steal the show, and have the audience eating out of the palm of his hand.
They are so much smarter than we could ever be over at Slate.
Maybe I will bid $1 when they come up for auction.
We hear them loud and clear.
The fact that we consider it "gathering intel on the intentions of the enemy" should make it clear that we are listening very closely.
This one does.
For the same reason I listened to the English-language service of Radio Moscow back in the day.
Hillary’s emails were hacked before Trump got in the race - - besides - what’s the big deal? The emails are only about yoga classes, right?

Oh and Isaac Chotiner the term ‘elite’ means ‘assh*le”... which might work describing the press... so never mind...
” Trump knows all of this, intuitively at least...” Yes, yes, yes, and I think the debate will be a hoot.
Even FBN was reporting incorrectly. I’d resorted to FBN since I couldn’t stomach the other networks’ lies. Then, one night during the DNC Convention, the crawl at the bottom of the screen said that Trump encourages Russia to “hack” Hillary’s emails. Actually, he said, “FIND”, not “hack”. It appears that FBN has been dealt with, and that station has gone to the dark side.
Their bar is getting lowered to rather impossible to believe levels.
BTW, most people in the Mideast probably actually have not seen Kim Kardashian’s ass.
No. I’m hearing their message loud and clear.
Which is why I’m supporting Trump.
The happenings at Incirlik are an internal Turkish matter. It’s their base, there are apparently opposition forces there.
The US troops there are (hopefully) innocent bystanders.
They don’t even bother to try to hide the bias anymore. Why watch them, other than for the occasional chuckle at their oafishness?
