Zioniist Israel?
I have NEVER heard anyone I know use the word Zionist whether they were for against or indifferent to Israel.
I’ve known dozens of hard core anti Israel leftists at work in NYC and have a number of Jewish friends from the neigbhorhood and from old jobs, and not ONCE did I ever hear that word. Even from the Jewish friends who frequented Israel!!
My point was he could have been a plant
During the Occupy Wall Street sham protests a few years back I heard a number of those fleabag lefties utter the word Zionist when voicing their opposition to the corporate elites. The left is filled with vile anti-semitism and anti-Israel sentiments. It sure isn’t coming from us.
“Zionist Israel” has been used by anti-Israel American Jews, by Palestinians and their supporters, by BDS leaders and supporters, and by the old “PLO Lobby” since they were founded in 1978.
Also used by self-hating Jewish Israelis, Fascists, and Soviet/Soviet Bloc propagandists.
Otherwise, I’ve haven’t heard it much either.
His objection and the way he termed it, “on behalf of Zionist Israel”, sounds like he doesn’t like he doesn’t like Jews having their own country, and he was possibly coached in his wordage.
