Who rarely lets you down?
The birther standard is nonsense.
Okie, it’s not nonsense, it is law. If you are a mom delivering a baby outside of the USA and the father isn’t American, you have to have lived in the country so many years after age 14 (I think 5 in 1961). That was serious law. And obama’s mother was barely 18 when she gave birth.
The fact that Barack Obama never had his own social security number his whole life points to a citizenship problem. Why? Why were his birth certificates online photoshopped documents? Why was his selective service document the only one in its year stamped with a two digit date stamp and not a four?
There is nothing nonsense about those facts.
And, added to that, newborn baby Barack was only seen in Seattle and not Hawaii. In Seattle, at that time, girls “in trouble” we’re frequently sent to the two Unwed Mother homes in Vancouver for pregnancy stays and adoption of their babies. Stanley Ann appeared in Seattle with a newborn she didn’t know how to care for. Maybe she gave birth in Canada.
That would mean, if true, that Barack Obama was never a citizen until the US Senate conferred a honorary passport to him when he was a senator.
Shouldn’t we rule such a situation out before electing someone?
One of my first jobs was for Casey Kasem. <3
a. He was not born in the USA
b. His mother was not old enough to confer citizenship under these circumstances.
I've some sympathy for you. However, while there might be well-founded suspicion, there is no proof supporting this scenario.
And, until somebody produces some, we are forced to conclude that Obama is probably eligible to be POTUS. My contention, all along, has been that Obama operatives created the notion of one non-citizen parent as being disqualifying for the specific purpose of distracting the whole birther movement -- which it most certainly did.
My point is that the birther movement has become nonsense because off this particular distraction!
Were you aware that nobody on Free Republic questioned Obama's eligibility on this basis until early December, 2008 --one month after Obama had been elected???!!!
Now, if that were a legitimate constitutional bar to being President, don't you suppose somebody among the millions of lawyers, jurists, professors and political junkies in the USA might've thought to make an issue of it before December, 2008?
Yet, nobody did. Why? Because they knew better...
My refeence to "birther nonsense" concerns only what it has become, not where it started from.
George Putnam. He was the best. KIEV every day at noon. I’d tune him in right after Paul Harvey, another of the greats.
Bob Frantz. Mike Trivasanno
This guy got his start on Putnam’s show. He started out as just a caller-

Are you kidding? I know we were questioning his eligibility in 2007.
You feel sympathy for me because I question his eligibility? His mother was legit not old enough to confer it.
You are right that I provided you with no proof Obama was born outside the border. There is also no known proof he was born inside the border.
His documentation is proven false. Two birth certificates and all of his social security numbers. His selective service document.
What else is there?
Two people died in passport office break ins in which only Obama and Hillary Clinton’s passport records were tampered with. Hillary is evil but there is plenty of documentation she was born within the borders.
Obama never had an American passport until the US Senate gave him one for official travel. Yet he traveled to Indonesia, Pakistan, and Kenya.
You don’t think there are warranted questions to ask? Well, the entire US government and media agree with you. Nothing to see here.
Bump for later watching
Of course, we were -- but on the basis of where he was actually born. It was the non-citizen parent issue which remained unmentioned on Free Republic until December, 2008.
