I don’t believe I would ever love a candidate so much that I would close my eyes and my mind to increasing revelations of bad behavior on his part.

Perhaps you can point to a Trump rally where Trump implored those 'worshipers' to "awaken and energize the Body of Christ" and to "put on the full armor of God"?
