I don't know. I think when you are 'selected' to be the next President, the CIA (or some other group) assigns a team to keep you clean and not allow anyone around you to do or say anything that can keep you from becoming electable. And once President, they still protect you.
Look at the people that have died around Obama. The choir boys from his church died to hide the fact he's gay and Loretta Fuddy, among others.
The Clinton's just have a higher body count than most because there is more dirt around them because Bill is a serial womanizer (if not rapist) and Hillary is a crook with zero morals.

Watched the videos that were released back when he got elected. The problem is that people are more worried about sports and Hollywood.
A foundation that will survive Bill and Hillary well past the point where even the most hardy hushees die a natural death is the perfect mechanism for ensuring a relatively untarnished legacy. If you were in the Clintons' position with that long trail of baggage and were no longer in power to control those from your past or give them taxpayer-funded government nothing jobs, could you think of a better strategy for legacy control?
If Trump is for real then I worry for his safety.
