Albuquerque police say four people are dead and two others were injured in four separate shootings across the city Sunday night.

Just before 9 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at a house in the North Valley on Rice Avenue NW near Rio Grande Boulevard. Inside the home, police found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Paul Randy Rael, died at the hospital. The other two victims, Rael's 27- and 28-year-old sons, are expected to survive.

According to the investigation, the suspect, 38-year-old Jason Comitz, got into an argument over a debt at Rael's house. As the argument escalated, shots were fired, striking Rael and his two sons.

Officers conducting a traffic stop arrested Comitz later that night. He has been booked on an open count of murder and two counts of aggravated battery with a weapon.

Minutes after the first incident, another deadly shooting took place in northwest Albuquerque at 10300 Golf Course Rd NW. Officers arriving at the scene found a male victim, who police identified Monday afternoon as Robert Hill.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect, 21-year-old Sebastian Aaron Mora, was involved in a heated argument at the victim's house. Investigators believe Mora pulled out a gun and shot Hill once.

APD says Mora fled the scene, but later returned to surrender to police. He has been booked into jail on an open count of murder.

Just after 9:30 p.m., APD spokesman Fred Duran said southeast officers responded to the scene of a crash near Cochiti Road and California Street. Upon arrival, officers said they heard a gunshot in the area.

Police then located a driver dead of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A weapon was also found in the seat next to the driver.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition with injuries only related to the crash.

Police say it is unknown at this time what caused the driver's actions leading to the self-inflicted shooting after the crash. The identities of both drivers have not been released at this time.

After midnight Monday, 911 dispatchers received several calls reporting shots fired in the area of San Mateo Boulevard and Kathryn Avenue SE. Police found a male victim lying on the sidewalk unresponsive.

The man was taken to the hospital, but later pronounced dead. The incident has been ruled a homicide.

Detectives have not identified the victim or any possible suspects. Anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed suspicious activity is asked to call (505)-242-2677.

Since the beginning of 2015, APD says officers have been dispatched to 22 shooting calls, eight of which were deemed violent crime call outs.

In the past two days, police have responded to four separate violent crime shooting call outs.

"We want to remind the citizens of Albuquerque to be vigilant of your surroundings and if you encounter a significant event to be a good witness, to remain at the scene and speak to police," Duran wrote in an email to KOB. "Officers and Detectives look forward to working with the community and to continue to work hard to solve crimes against the citizens of Albuquerque and to keep our community safe."
