Its hard not to smile at this story.
There is wailing and gnashing of teeth at Harvard University the very heart of Liberland. It seems that the benevolent folks at the august university have just realized that the same Obamacare they helped push down our throats will now be choking them as well. Schaddenfreude comes to mind. The word has a nice comforting ring to it. It means enjoying the misery of another person.
The Eat your spinach experts in Cambridge have realized that the provisions of Obamcare require them to pay more for less just as the rest of us have to. Harvards Faculty of Arts and Sciences voted to oppose the schools plans to charge them higher rates than they had been enjoying, the only reason for the increase being their Imperial Lords Affordable Care Act.
The best part of the story is that their protest, just as our protests, means nothing and the higher costs will kick in as planned this month anyway.
Stunned that such a generous employer as Harvard would pass along costs for the shoddy care these dainty souls will soon be receiving, some have been grumbling out loud.

typical Socialist view of the proletariat!
Brick & Mortar professors need to be done away with!
Obama can just issue a waver to them.
Bump
But “the rich” were supposed to pay for all this, not these poor Harvard professors. To be rich, you have to be a Republican!!!
Obamacare for thee not for me...
"Diversity" (bussing of "minority" kids) into schools for thy kids, not my kids.
Gun control for thee, but not for my private security detail. Etc.
but.. but WE’RE PIGS TOO!
Get back in line, donkeys!

Some of the stupidest people I know have diplomas from harvard on their wall.
I think that whenever issues like this come up it is only fitting to tell these people to “embrace the suck.” I for one will enjoy their impotent weeping, wailing, and gnashing of their teeth.
So I assume that Professor Richard F. Thomas is rather well paid compared to others at Harvard. Since he believes the increases “regressive”, does that mean he is willing to pay more to help out the poor janitors and lesser profs? I kind of doubt it.
Gruber was right...
