I just read that the perp is graduate of one of our institutions of higher criminal learning in the Dept. of Corrections. Their records reflect he has a tattoo of Jesus on his chest so it seems he had some mixed feelings about his spiritual home.
Prison Islam is apparently a bit more flexible on things such as tattoos.
He also has a Muslim greeting tattoo, since he recently converted to Islam. Jesus us considered a prophet in the Muslim religion.
