They left the White House ‘dead broke’ because he lied in a court of law about an affair with an intern. Maybe he should have told the truth FOR ONCE especially in court.
But, they actually didn’t end up paying for the legal bills anyway, donors did. And anywhere they fly someone else foots the bill, not them.
Bill Clinton came here for a school signing ceremony and a friend of the school footed the bill for the private plane which cost around $40,000.
I seem to remember that they were charging the Secret Service rent for space on the grounds of their Chappaqua estate.
