I still don’t get the attraction of an Article V Convention: Calling a convention to pass new amendments, when the PTB don’t obey or ignore the ones we already have?
Repealing the 17th means States revert back to either electing, selecting, or appointed when choosing their Senators.
This translates to more power to the State as the Senator becomes a quasi ambassador or sorts to the Federal government, actually being responsible for and accountable to the State.
The rest won’t matter as the Executives and Agencies actually feel the pressure and suffer the consequences of cheating the States. There would be no way to avoid it and no way to ‘executive order’ your way out.
