I was interested in finding out where a NM Sheriff derives the authority to order a city police department to disband and order a city to fire it’s police chief.
It appears from the Jemez Springs Police Department web page (http://www.jemezsprings.org/police.html), that they are a sheriff’s substation. Which would lead me to believe that it is within the sheriff’s authority.
Still scratching my head about this though. Seems like wrongful termination to me.
yes, even the “Common Core” curriculum has references that say all “right wing ‘radical’ groups” are recognized as extremists.
Alex Jones says he was going to a “Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) convention taking place in Las Vegas. CSPOA is an organization headed up by Sheriff Richard Mack under which law enforcement officers gather to re-affirm their commitment to uphold and defend the Constitution.”
I don’t follow conspiracy theories closely, but there may be more to this than what is seen at first glance.
A google search produced a news article that the Police Chief has an completely different identity - the names on his boarding pass and driver’s license were not even close to matching...
If the Police Chief was concealing an alternate identity, I would think that would violate his commission. It raises other questions among which are, “how could someone become chief of a police department (part-time or otherwise) without a thorough background check?”
Anyway, here’s the link I found:
