we are getting awfully close to the only good republican, is a dead republican

The rest of the best for the week, by Daniel.
Be ye edified.
Claims that the best way to understand Islam is through writings of Sayyid Qutb, the father of modern Islamic extremism whose writings inspired Osama Bin Laden [pp. 132-3]
Qutb visited the U.S. during WW II and later, and went home to Egypt with a smoking hatred of the United States. Then he sat down to write, and he began to spew his hate.
The claim is that Coloradans were racist and snubbed him and treated him shabbily. (Wait -- that sounds like my first job. Were people racist against me? I'm confused; help me out here.)
More likely, given the outcome, he was a self-important little man who hated that Americans wouldn't kiss his ass, no matter what he thought of himself and his own consequentiality.
More closely related to rug burns, I think.
Excellent two-part interview, in the immediate aftermath of the Gates revelations and the Benghazi report, of Daniel Greenfield by Ann-Marie Murrell, National Editor-in-Chief of PolitiChicks.tv/ .
Long, (38 mins total) but worthy; the brilliant Daniel is like the Albert Einstein or Stephen Hawking of conservative foreign policy.
