Ask anyone on the left which groups are hated by the right, and they'll be able to rattle off a dozen or so answers. Truth doesn't matter, perception does, and so they'll have that list ready - gays, immigrants, blacks, yada yada yada.
Anyway, it occured to me that we should have our own list of those groups for which many on the left show as much, if not more, intolerance. So here's my list, and I'd be happy to hear from other Freepers with some ideas of what else could be added:
Tea Partiers
Gun owners
The devout
Virgins
Beauty pageant contestants (one in particular)
The rich (special dispensation to atheletes and entertainers)
Members of the military (particulary those who show too much pride in their service)
Flag-waving patriots (same principle applies)
Nascar fans
Trailer Park Residents
White southerners
Home-schooling parents
Creationists
Global warming skeptics
Stay-at-home Moms
Country music fans
Others??
Anyone who disagree with them. Anyone who proves they’re wrong.

I agree, they are miserable creatures. I think part of their belief system stems from “If I can’t be happy I want everyone else to be miserable” at least those I have known.

Those who make a living harvesting and/or processing
natural resources except union members

Anyone with a brain who still possesses critical thinking skills.
I remember when Goldwater ran for prez. If anybody too young to remember thinks conservatives are maligned now, they should have seen the garbage that was thrown at Goldwater. He was considered a crazy war-monger who would start a nuclear war as soon as he was sworn in. I was too young to vote at that time, but I can't remember seeing or reading any pro-Goldwater articles. Even the entertainment industry was solidly against him.
Me. And yes I’m proud of it. If those un-American and anti-American socialists and fascists loathe me that just means I’m on the right path.

Personal Freedom, they are crazy with loathing just thinking that somewhere, somebody is having a good time expressing their personal freedom.
