I thinks simply leaning them against the fence, like hundreds of wide steel ladders would better convey a certain MESSAGE.
Isn’t there a certain line that is supposedly crossed if they are placed on the fence? Considered an act/threat of aggression or some such?
Indeed, leaning them vertically on the fence is a perfectly appropriate message to send.
Americans don’t belong behind iron bars. Those are for the lawless. If nothing else these barricades should be formed into pens each with a jailbird Obama doll secured inside.
