Kathy, if you would be so good as to ping-list this out.
My wife and I traveled to Prescott and attended Ron’s memorial service to be with Brad’s Gramma today as did two other FR members.
It was a wonderful service where family, friends and co-workers attended. We had a good visit with a number of them at the lovely reception that the girls prepared in the fellowship hall. We even got to see Brad, all grown.
Freeper, Sparky Bass, another from the area was there as a solid recent acquaintance of BG and it is good to know there is a good fellow and his family nearby. I will let them add their own accounts when possible.
Ron was widely discussed as the strong patriot he was and how his regard for his family was a keenly known attribute by his friends and business associates.
I would like to tell you that Brad’s Gramma was a stolid, boring, person and the effervescence, originality and jazzy personality we see on the forum is just a show. But as sometimes happens, the version in print is much like the version in person and shows through even in a tough time.
With a deep loss, we all carry a heavy shroud, as did our dear FR friend, but the light of each person shines through in even the toughest hour and it did so today and we can rest assured that with her strong faith she will make it through this passage.
We would like to thank her and her family for our warm inclusion in this difficult time as we attended representing and carrying the best wishes of you all.
