...There were shots fired and blood shed in April of 1775 and one could also conclude that the first shot was fired in 1772...

Yeah, ok. And have we had any "shots fired" in the build-up to our 1776? Nope, not a thing, not a peep, just a bunch of people at best typing out some angry words in the internet, and at worst, just changing the channel. Oh, but if those government guys do just one more thing............

Typical modern thinking that everything has to move at light speed as does communication. In the 1700s there was no internet but there was massive pamphleteering, writing of letters and exchange of “angry words”. It takes time to build a momentum and over the last few years with increasing oppression there are more and more people willing to speak out. With that I’ve seen many more who are now considering the idea of reestablishing the government our forefathers gave us; to include actions unthinkable a few years back.

Any semblance of hope in the “ruling class” doing anything is almost gone and that is one of the first steps in building a movement to take back our individual rights and freedoms. The ruling class in the GOP can’t conceive that if there ever were a revolution they would be held in the same contempt as the democrat party. Their mistake.

Yes, there have been.
From the government:
Literally — Randy Weaver and David Koresh.
Figuratively — Fast & Furious, IRS, NSA.
At the government: Joseph Stack, Suspicious Packages
