The added lei also appear to serve to conceal her close proximity, it's a very intimate pose.

The thing that irks me about the photo montage is that someone montaged it for a reason. What was their reason? I can think of two general reasons.

1. To mess up with the original photo (whatever it was) because it would be damning in some way. So, mess with it, and nullify whatever the original would reveal.

2. To create a myth of departure/arrival that somehow supports the myth.

To me, the first reason is more likely since what the event the photo purports to show isn’t even clear, nor (from what I have read) has it ever been made clear.

So, I deduce that the purpose of the photo montage is to hide whatever the original photo showed.

Hello Fred, I don't think the "dock photo woman" and the the one below are the same person-- I don't think the woman in the photo below is accually with barack sr.. Some kind of meeting maybe? She looks to be high class and well dressed.. Patsy Takemoto
