What?
Cyprus style?
Sequester?
Did they roll back a cost of living increase or something?
That can’t be true. Obama promised me it wouldn’t happen. He wouldn’t lie to me, would he?
Medicare deduction?
The 3 SSDIs that I know were all the same for this month.
We have to pay for those nice donations to Muslim Brotherhood somehow. Quit yer bitchin’.
You are on disability right? You start out being enrolled in Medicare Part A. After a period of time they send you enrollment for Part B. You do not have to sign on for Part B, but if you did, they will remove the monthly cost from your check.
If you do not sign up for Part B when it is offered, they will charge you more later.
I’ll know later today. The copay on my prescriptions increased $80.00 in January.
after having to write a substantial check to the IRS, this sounds like whining to me.
You can always choose another route that doesn’t rely on a check from the government. That would be my suggestion to you. Obviously you are good at accounting to the penny, maybe you could do that for somebody in lieu of a disability check from the government?
Okay, now that I’ve had my first sip of coffee...
Hubby’s SSDI hasn’t changed lately.
As I recall (and granted, my memory sucks) after he had been on it for two years, he was automatically signed up for Medicare. He’s had TriCare since before it was Champus, and he never wanted Medicare. But apparently TriCare has a rule that required him to be signed up for Medicare. The premium for that is taken out of his SSDI each month.
They used to send us crap in the mail all the time, trying to get him signed up for Medicare. He had great coverage with TriCare Prime, so he didn’t want Medicare. Eventually I just filed everything Medicare related with the AARP crap. File 13. Then one day they started taking money out of his SSDI, signed him up for Medicare, changed him from TriCare Prime to TriCare For Life, and made Medicare his primary insurance. I never saw the notice they probably sent. It took me over a year to get straight answers on what had happened. Those answers came from TriCare. I never did get a straight answer from Medicare or SSDI.
I haven’t noticed any difference in coverage or care. The only difference is the premium. We’re still paying for TriCare Prime, but now we get to pay for Medicare too, for the same coverage we already had.
The Social Security Administration is running out of money. The SSA has been sending letters to social security recipients of all stripes informing them that they have been overpaid in the past and that their benefits will be reduced (in some cases to nothing for many monthS) until the “debt” is repaid to the SSA.
Contact the SSA office nearest you to determine what happened. You may have still receive a reduced benefit, but you may be able to lengthen the payback time or at least plan for the future.
Fraklin Delano Roosevelt’s Ponzi scheme is about to collapse.
It possibly depends on the type of Medicare and drug prescription you have.
Part D is an automatic deduction.
If you have Medicare Advantage, the drug plan premium may be included in it. The MA plan may also have a premium.

It all depends whether you MA, and if so, what plan under it you have.
I am simply amazed by your brazen post here.
