We all still make our own choices don’t we? I don’t see how these ‘elites’ are forcing anyone to get into debt, do drugs, drink alcohol, get STDs, get abortions, get divorced, raise kids alone, vote for morons or make any other bad personal decisions. I’ve made my share and I can’t blame anyone but myself.

It would explain a lot of things, like why there is so little difference between the Dems and the Republicans.

Some pairs and other groups do participate in conspiracies that they would rather keep behind their politicians and out of sight. Add some untrue stories, worthy of ridicule, to the truth and stir. Most readers and listeners will reject the truth along with the garbage. Interesting trick, eh?

“Obviously the super-wealthy do not own virtually all the banks and corporations. Millions and millions of individual shareholders do.”

millions of people own a few shares.

Its not about ownership, its about control. A relatively low number of people have control.

I haven’t lost my job. I’m doing quite well, I tend to survive recessions glowingly. But bad things in the economy DO effect the wealthy. Just the devaluation of the dollar effects them, if you’re worth X billion dollars and the dollar loses half its buying power guess what just happened to your net worth. Then of course there’s the rest of that bullet point that you studiously edited around, fat and happy people are easier to control, recessions prevent fat happiness.

How did our nation become so indebted, and how can our national debt be eliminated? I've watched the documentary narrated by Bill Stills, The Money Masters.

I strongly recommend this DVD to all who do not understand how our debt-driven monetary system operates. It is simple: 90% of the world's money is created by private banks, like the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England, out of plain air and without anything of value to back them up. Those private banks then buy government debt instruments, namely government bonds, which put nations and their citizens in debt to the private banks.

Another good source of information is The Secret of OZ, an award winning documentary, now a DVD also narrated by Bill Still, and now available in an updated version.

Both the Money Masters and The Secret of OZ DVDs can be purchased through the online site, TheMoneyMasters.com.

Note: I am not associated in any way with the company that produces the DVDs nor with the producers of The Money Masters or The Secret of Oz.

Ridicule anyone who attempts to explain how the system works. That has been working for centuries. Most people hate it when they have to think for themselves. So much hesitation and then they say no the risk of being wrong is more than I can stand so they remain in the hole, repeating the same mistakes over and over.

Myself, I start my day with the Lord and ask for His guidance through the treacherous journey that we all must take. It’s been working much better than I ‘d ever imagined that it might. The only problems I’ve ever had is when I tried to steer my life without Him. Thankfully, I didn’t get too far off course.

Fat people get lazy and start to take days off from work. That’s not good for the bottom line. Hungry people who have hope are your hardest workers.

You just went way out of your way to miss the point. “Fat and happy” is a saying, for people with comfortable jobs and lives, they aren’t necessarily actually physically fat. And hungry people are hungry because they don’t have jobs, doesn’t matter if they’d be hard workers since they don’t have jobs. Instead because they don’t have jobs they’re available for protests like OWS. A fine shining example of why if there were a secret cabal running things they would NEVER allow a recession, nobody whined about rich people getting richer when unemployment was 2.4% (fat and happy), unemployment gets over 8% and all of a sudden people are camping out in various downtowns for months at a time (hungry). Boom economies are in the best interest of secret masters, recessions go against their needs.

If you’re worth X billion dollars and are only invested in the dollar, you need a new financial advisor! I imagine you have metals and perhaps some Euros or Canadian dollars in your accounts. If you don’t, I advise you to look into it.

And again you go out of your way to miss the point. The recession has been GLOBAL, ALL currencies have lost buying power.

Here’s an example:

If a few people conspire to commit fraud against a certain city or town, they get their own people hired into key positions by favoritism and elected to office through manipulating elections, then get some laws passed that create a boondoggle that floats city-issued bonds to pay for their own corp which was supposed to build a road or something, then they abscond with the money and do nothing, and the taxpayers are left paying off the bonds...

That is fraud and a conspiracy; it’s a crime on the part of the perpetrators, not the “fault” of the voters for “voting in the wrong people”. The elections and hiring efforts were part of the conspiracy. If the conspirators had backed no one at all in the elections and had not had any of “their own men” hired into key positions, they would not be part of the conspiracy. Then again, in that case, the voters would not be at fault either, since there were fair elections and hirings. The whole conspiracy then would simply be the influence of people who were already in power.

Uwise leaders are different from leaders who conspire to bankrupt a government on purpose.

I didn’t mean physically fat or thin. When you have a large bank account, a large home and all the toys a man could want, the desire you had isn’t there . The desire to earn that first million is much greater than the desire for the tenth million. That’s what I mean by being fat.

If you haven’t reached your goal, you’re still hungry.

People who are truly hungry for food are IMO either poorly educated in self achievement skills or physically ill. That is a whole nother subject.

Percentage wise most people in the Elite class saw fantastic gains while the Lower classes took tremendous hits. You are the one who is not looking at the whole picture.

>>ALL currencies have lost buying power.<<

I consider gold and silver to be currencies. They both gained.
