mormonism is not Christianity, and to justify it as such is nonsense.
This is not a Christian voting for another Christian, it is Christians trying to justify their votes based on other criteria.
If that is acceptable, then vote for Romney otherwise don’t vote, there is NO justification for voting for obama.

(Ya know, doncha, that the headline doesn't really match the content of the article?)

For example...constant references to "God"...like: There are numerous Bible passages that confirm the importance of God, Government, and the Christian’s obligation to engage the culture.

But (a) Mormonism is polytheistic...they believe even their temple-recommended members -- like Mitt -- ARE "gods-in-embryo";
and (b) Mormonism rejects the God of the Bible...claiming that THE God isn't God from eternity past

1. Is God the Only Being who can claim an eternal past?
In Mormonism, man is as eternal as the Mormon god: "Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be." (D&C 93:29)

That doesn't match up vs. the Bible: "...ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me." (Isaiah 43:10) * "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." (Isaiah 44:6) * "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God." (Psalm 90:2)

2. Did the God of this earth always exist as THE ONLY TRUE GOD per Mormonism?

NO: “I will go back to the beginning, before the world was, to show what kind of a being God is. What sort of a being was God in the beginning? Open your ears and hear, all ye ends of the earth; for I am going to prove it to you by the Bible, and to tell you the designs of God in relation to the human race, and why he interferes with the affairs of man. God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted Man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens. That is the great secret." (Joseph Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, 1938 Also in Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, p. 3, 1844; for those who deem this just an "opinion" stated long ago, the official Lds church has republished this quote: For example, in 1992, the Lds church published Follow Me: Relief Society Personal Study Guide 4, and cited a similar quote on p. 22) "...It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the Character of God, and to know that we may converse with him as one man converses with another, and that he was once a man like us; yea, that God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345-46)."

From the article: Every Christian should see this. (Suffer through the partial birth abortion segment.)...

Ya know, if we could take a microphone up & interview various "demographics" of the spirits of pre-borns slaughtered by way of abortion...you'd have...
...The spirits who died by needle injections to the base of the skull (partial-birth abortions supported by Obama)
...as well as spirits dismembered limb by limb by abortionists who told their "clients" they needed it for reasons of "health" (abortion-on-demand for reasons of health -- not life -- supported by BOTH Romney and Obama!)

[Not sure how it is the supposed "Christian" community is ranking pre-borns according to what gestational period and method of killing when they supposedly believe that Jesus was an embryo of ALL gestational ages...and that God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit created ALL from conception onwards]

Btw...Romney "clarified" his support of the abortion industry determining the "health" of moms to be aborted on the Aug. 27 interview he did with CBS News...besides, it's the exact same position of the Mormon church!

I couldn't care less that Romney's a Mormon...I'm voting for him based on the way politics works in the real world.

It's a two-party system, and either the (R) or the (D) will be president. Period. Overall, I prefer the politics of Republicans over that of Democrats, so I vote a straight Republican ticket every time.

Watched the video. Yes, the whole thing. Then I went back to my Bible, and 2 John 1:9-11 was still there. If I can’t let a Mormon into my house, or even give him a common greeting, how can I ever voluntarily grant him authority over my life on such a grand scale as the US presidency?

Could bad things happen if Obama remains president? Yes, and they already have. I don’t want those bad things to happen. But if I vote for Romney, I am giving authority to a teacher of antichrist doctrine, to a man whose business it is to draw souls to perdition.

Accepting the mark of the Beast will be only a small step from that. Both decisions are based on perceived necessity, coupled with a complete lapse of faith in God :

1) Without antichrist teacher Romney to protect us, God will just run and hide somewhere and we will go hard communist. Or Islamist. Or both. Surely the right to survive and the love of country would justify disobeying God just this once. Right?

2) Without the mark of the Beast, we will not be able to earn money or buy food. Surely God will forgive us for acting to protect our own lives during that debacle as well, even if we must brazenly disobey specific warnings He gave us to protect us from the Evil One. Right? Same logic as the Romney logic, so why not go that next step?

Do you see what we’re losing here? There’s more at stake than a country. Christians do have an obligation to “render unto Caesar” what belongs to Caesar. But they must in that same moment render unto God what is God’s. God has spoken on false teachers and those who hold forth an antichrist perversion of the doctrine of Christ. They are to get no support whatsoever from Christians. None. That’s what we owe God. Caesar gets his tax money. God gets our souls. That’s the deal.

It is better to obey God and be thought a fool, than to disobey God and remove all doubt.

Peace,

SR

meh. As a Christian, I found your recommended vid to be largely propaganda. Romney’s social positions are extremely liberal, and always have been - current campaign ‘Road to Damascus’ conversions notwithstanding... A year ago, we all knew better. It is truly shocking how easily some folks develop a convenient amnesia.
