The real story here is that if a company endorses SSM its reputation will suffer. Forbes, for instance, is trying to bury that finding with the headline "Higher Democrat Perception for LGBT brands" when in actuality brand support for companies perceiving to be pro-SSM has dropped among BOTH Republicans and Democrats:
"While overall Buzz scores for the index of brands have decreased among both groups, the decline is more significant among consumers who identify themselves as Republican."
Take a look at this chart for "brands which have publicly supported LGBT" filtered by Democrat and Republican consumers from January 1st to September 5th of this year. The brands measured are "Amazon.com, American Apparel, Apple, General Mills Brands, Google, Home Depot, J.C. Penney, Levi’s, Macy’s, Microsoft, Nabisco, Nike and Starbucks."
No matter how media outlets try to spin it the chart could not be more clear -- coming out for gay marriage hurts a corporation's brand: [See Graphic:]
It's a nice boycott list. I have reduced my use of Amazon and often use them for an initial price before buying from a local who will match their price. It's hard to boycott both Apple and Msft, but otherwise I'm doing a good job of avoiding these companies.
What does SSM mean?

Just as you wouldn't park a car in a neighborhood famous for dealing drugs and having turf wars, you wouldn't have your kid try on clothes in a store which enthusiastically markets to sexual deviants.

I always vote with my pocketbook and my feet. I will continue to do so.
I don;t spend money in any of those stores, especially homo depot and Penny, starbucks.

When I first read this I thought the article was about the Sisters of St. Mary’s as in SSM Healthcare. As always with Free Republic, I’m glad I read on.
How about everyone turns off their tv for 30 minutes during the “new normal” homosexual tv show on cbs? no recording, no mass network recording, just turn off the tv for 30 minutes.
Just shut it all down.
