Did the Romney campaign read Rules for Radicals and apply them to the RNC Convention? Lost in the discussion of the Clint Eastwood evisceration of the Empty Chair character of Barack Obama was maybe the most obvious explanation for why the Romney campaign allowed this presentation:
RULE 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. There is no defense. Its irrational. Its infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
Have the conservatives finally found the backbone to learn something from their liberal brethren?
Romney, as a long-time financier and business consultant, understands the importance of knowing as much about the situation and the people you are negotiating against as anyone. I would not put it past him to have realized that in order to beat a community organizer you need to think like one. Hence the possibility of learning Alinsky from end to end.
Maybe I am giving him too much credit but the possibility does exist. The ridicule is not just the Eastwood skit but also the Ryan speech section on the kid moving into his childhood bedroom and the follow up commercial ad of the student talking on the phone from the bedroom.
If so, this campaign will be a lot of fun and will likely succeed beyond our hopes as not only Obama, but the MSM and progressivism getting taken out simultaneously. I hope is plays out the way it looks to me!

You are absurd.
Communists use guns, in war.
Does that mean Capitalists should NOT use guns, in war?
LEARN HOW TO FIGHT!
You purists want to lose but lose as purists.
Read it? Team willard seems to have memorized it along with the discourses by Machiavelli.
Nice for purposes of beating hussein. Not so nice when those same strategies are used against conservatives.
Yeah whatever. Guess I’m the enemy now.
Maybe you should have me silenced at FR.
Idealism is admirable. However, I prefer to oust the clown-in-chief now and regroup later. We have to stand united against multiple threats to our country.
“Nice for purposes of beating hussein. Not so nice when those same strategies are used against conservatives.”
Those same nasty strategies have been used against us by Dems for years now. Time to strike back. An eye for an eye, fight fire with fire etc. etc. They’ve gotten away with murder because conservatives are by nature well behaved and polite. That’s when we always get sucker punched, and they know we don’t fight back. Not now though, the party is over for the Dems. The Empire strikes back.
Is that who I think it is shaking hands with George Romney?!
Give them a taste of their own medicine!
if you’ve read any of my posts over the years you’d know that I’m an advocate of firing back when fired upon.
The problem with embracing alinskys tactics is that they become the thing you use not just against the bad guys, they also end up being used against the good guys. Hell is filled with those who figured they’d embrace a little evil for the best of reasons. And then it became their master.
Think I’m being overly dramatic? Pick up a copy of rules for radicals and read who it is dedicated to.
Don't forget the Convention fight in '64 when the Purist Jorge Romney refused to support the honest-to-G-D Conservative Barry Goldwater, which gave us Lyndon Johnson, who is one of the main people responsible for our current situation!
Reportedly the chair was Clint’s doing, without the campaign’s knowledge, and the stagehand who brought it out for him as Clint asked assumed he would sit in it.
As far as I’m concerned the GOP is responsible for Obamacare because of the conservatives they threw overboard in 08.
There’s an old piece on that fight posted just above. It’s hard to fault with fighting Goldwater for opposing civil rights legislation.
Saul Alinksy got 2 of his protegees in both the Dem/Repub parties for the price of one.
Have you switched your party affiliation yet C.C.? I didn't want to be associated with the Progressive wing anymore.

The 1957 Civil Rights bill was halted in congress, with no small part due to Senate Majority Leader Lyndon Johnson.
While Senator Barry Goldwater pushed hard for it.
Not-So-Ironically their roles would be reversed in 1964 because Goldwater thought the Title II and Title VII of the bill unlawfully overextended the role of the federal government.
While Lyndon Johnson (sadly) correctly inferred this would make blacks depended on the Democrat Party.
That right is essential to an American, to NOT do something.
Now it is required by law to do EVERYTHING, Deathcare is a tax on being alive!
Does that sound like liberty to you?
