Meant to add that there is what appears to be a turnstile or entrance swing gate in the picture. That might have been where the business’ sign would have been.
I’ll go out on a limb and suggest that if the sign was there and was deliberately cropped from the image, the photograph might just as well have been taken in any other town or city in the US.
Without a yearbook, there’s no way you could tell.
