Why do we have to go so far out on the fringes to find candidates for both parties? Is there something wrong with those of us who have been in the country for many generations?

Are not enough of us willing to step up and run? Do having parents who had to fight to get hear instill something* in their children that makes them want to lead this nation?

* That could be good in the case of conservative anti-communist children, or horribly bad in the case of a Marxist loving family.
