I heard Michael Meds blow up at a caller the wanted to know if Marco Rubio would meet the definition of NBC since his parents were not US citizens, and so Meds pronounces that we all know that anyone who was born in the USA meets the definition of NBC. This from a guy who claims he went to law school (but never finished) - he is a "conservative talk show host" this is what we are up against.

Let me see if I got this right - an illegal alien crosses the border and drops their spawn and that child is then a NBC !!! Truly incredible where we as a nation have degenerated down into.

It should not be surprising that within Vattel’s Law of Nations the term “natural-born Citizen” was defined as: “The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.” (Emphasis added) Notice the plural use for parentage.
