It is interesting to see data that hasn’t been manipulated by the fedgov for the casual news crowd.
Well, I think some part of this can be explained in the following ways:
1. No question, the average fleet MPG of US cars has gone up, even with new car purchasing at a lower level.
2. In the long run, people are taking commuting to work or to potential work very seriously in choosing where they live.
