Osteen is the spawn of an adulterous relationship - his preacher/pastor father ran off with the piano player. That, of course, isn’t Osteen’s fault, but perhaps it has something to do with Osteen’s profound theological and intellectual shallowness.

I did not know that about Osteens beginnings but I can't stand to listen to the blubbering fool. We have some very good friends and devout Christians who hang on his every word. I don't understand how they can be so devoted to him and his church. They are Catholic turn evangelical. They haven't asked us to go to church with them but I already know I am busy then. :)
