Most things that go bump in the night aren’t zombies. Years ago I went out on the deck and pounded on the siding to scare away something in the bushes below. I learned that doesn’t work too well on skunks and they leave a reminder of that lesson on the siding that lasts for months. lol
How about "A .22 is tool I never thought I would need. You need to get over yourself."
I think you've proved my point, doctor.
I'm not urban anymore. Family matters made that required. Even if it kills me.
So I'm suburban. And raising pigs and shooting guns is unlawful. And I'm very careful never to get caught doing those things.
But I am very practical about not allowing problems to continue. Or putting meat on the table.
And before the tragic boating accident I had plenty of .22s of every decription, on the theory that a butter knife can get you a steak knife can get you whatever you need.

There are many positives about the 22 and I think they are underrated. First they cheap, quiet, lightweight, good for small game and an option for self defense.
You can get 500 rounds for $20. So when you’ve used up all your 9mm or .45 the .22 will still be going.
Sure they don’t have the stopping power of larger calibers or the range but they are still useful. Do you know anyone who wants to be shot with a .22?
