Held 3 different people at gunpoint in my life and fired at one burglar. I THINK I wounded him because I didnt catch him, but found blood.
If it comes to protecting your family, if you have even the slightest amount of balls you will do what is necessary.
Maybe you could still start a new line? You have a lot of knowledge to pass on. Tell Dr. Blam that he's being selfish. LOL
BTW, I have 11 grandchildren, but none of them live around here, so I seldom see them. They are fun when I do see them, however.
As a young man of 17 I held off an armed intruder(knife) with an empty japanese rifle with no bolt, by promising that if he moved I’d shoot him dead. I never took the rifle out of my shoulder until the police arrived. My dad got rid of the war relic afterwards, and I joined thr Marines.
I live every day ready to defend my life as well as the lives of all those I love, and I am prepared to kill anyone that would harm me, them, or destroy this country, if you are not, then you have no business being human, much less an American citizen.

Yeah, I still remember the faces, even from half a mile and 40+ years distance. But nobody ever invites me to a fair fight.
What would the next civil war in the U.S. look like? Who vs. Who? Or would it just be gun owners vs.non-gunowners?
