True. A bigger lie is that they’re on the side of the downtrodden and want to lift them up. That is a very effective cover (bait) covering the hook of tyranny waiting to snag them all.
Wait until they see how big a boot of oppression the Demonrats will stomp them with.
I remember seeing footage of Truman and FDR being total socialist demagogues, when addressing the believers at a Democrat convention. They sounded exactly like Lenin, saying things like, "those damned millionaires," etc., etc. The Rats have always played the communist tunes, note for note. They just had to keep the noise level down or their party would be busted up by the right.
Now, however, they can play with the volume turned full up.
The most brilliant quote is by O'Rourke: "Liberalism is just communism sold by-the-drink."
You can get Jack and Coke at a bar, one at a time, or, you can buy a bottle of each and do the same thing at home.
Likewise there is no difference between the collectivism we call liberalism today, and hard core communism.They just have to package it differently, here and now, as they are accumulating power.

Later will come the weapons seizures, the round-ups, show trials, death camps, mass graves...that's all in their plans. They are not emboldened enough yet to do them, but, in time they will be.
Very important to realize this, as hard a reality as it is.
