I have to agree that yours is the closest analogy since the national "conversation" about abortion has for years reminded me of the 19th century "dialog" between slavers and abolitionists.

But I also like "Don't like murder? Don't commit one". Or: "Don't like hospital food? Stay out of my face"

The analogy is more apt than most people realize. Susan B. Anthony was an Abolitionist who was opposed to infant murder. I recall reading an article that after Slavery was abolished, the abolitionist movement turned it's attention to the practice of abortion and got laws passed throughout the nation prohibiting the practice. I distinctly recall reading an excerpt from the New York Times advocating laws to ban abortion. Amazing how times have changed.
