Trump’s just being practical.

Sure, he’s made donations to Democrat politicos in NYC, Chicago, and elsewhere. When you’re developing huge real-estate projects in those cities its good business practice to grease a few palms amongst the powers-that-be.

That’s the way the game is played.

"Pretty sad that’s she’s hitting up a liberal for money."

Sad, yes. Surprising, no. She is more of a populist than an ideological conservative.

And that would make him much more 'establishment' than his rah rah boys here would like to admit.

As a consummate politician, Sarah was probably impressed by Trump’s rise in the polls and wanted to see if there was any part of Trump’s message that she could adopt.

"But if Palin can woo him enough to keep him from doing that she’ll have done a mighty deed."

If there is anything to this article, the opposite is taking place.

"I don’t see any of Romney’s votes being outsider-driven, and I think Trump takes more outsider votes from Palin than Romney."

Exactly! Both Trump and Palin have a populist appeal.

That’s just a repeating of pol-style compliments. Palin doesn’t really want him to run and she hasn’t persuaded him to.

Trump does have a lot of liberal garbage in his political baggage. He has also come out strong almost challenging against what has been dragging this Nation down. I believe he is no promoter of Bush1’s ‘new world order’,a clear voice on that is needed . I also believe he is more a supporter of the Constitution principles than many other RHINOs. Having Trump on the political stage doesn’t frighten me as long as there are people like Palin, Bachmann, Cain, West and probably just a few others.

You might be right, but I would be more convinced if she had not been the one to reach out to him. That goes beyond mere pol-style compliments and hints at an alliance on some sort.

It’s a reaching out that I’d rather not have seen. I’m a Palin supporter despite her reality TV leanings and instincts.

How's that for starters?

Sounds like 80% of the GOP. Also, labels like "bigtime supporter of the UN" etc, un-anchored in any kind of documentation, are meaningless.

You’re the one who said Trump wasn’t liberal. When I give you five prime examples of how he is you respond with “sounds like 80% of the GOP.”. If you think 80% of the GOP is pro abortion and loves Hillary then you are on the wrong website. As for the rest, if you need me to Google “Trump UN” for you once again you are on the wrong website.

Sorry. Use google yourself. There’s plenty of examples of Trump kicking big government out of his face, and having a good record with regards to the US military in his early days.

Really. Don’t go sounding off like a brigadier to me ;).

I know you weren’t “talking” to me here, but Trump is no longer pro-abortion. He is pro-life.

Just my $0.02.

So is Mitt Romney, if you believe such conversions. Trump was a Hillary supporter just three short years ago. He was giving money to Harry Reid just last year. If you are truly pro life you can not support those people. If you do you have no morals, and I don't want you in power, and those seeking my vote should avoid such people.

Look if you want to prop up a Hillary Clinton supporter who not all that long ago contemplated running for President as a democrat go right ahead. I'm not interested in liberals who suddenly ‘see the light’ when looking for republican votes. And I'm not going to waste any more time trying to convince someone of the blatantly obvious - Trump is no conservative.
