No now they’re given the blockbuster treatment, because they make the big fat cash. There’s a difference between class and cash, December movies are about class (and hopeful Oscars) summer movies are for cash.

Don’t know where you found that clip but you got spoofed. There is no even similar scene. There’s no hunting camps, not rednecks hunters, no woods, and saddest of all Sif never gets even close to naked.

I’ve seen the trailer. It appears to be third-rate.

It didn’t get cut from the film and won’t be on the DVD because it’s from the TV series Kyle XY. That clip is a spoof/prank.

It couldn’t have gotten cut. It wouldn’t fit into the story at all. All of the earth side story is in New Mexico, when Sif comes to earth she does so with the warriors 3, and nobody transports Terminator style. Over and above that it’s a scene from another movie. What somebody did there was take a clip of Sif from the trailer then added a scene from KyleXY

Told you it was a spoof.

Okay. I've been educated. Thank you.
Marvel is crazy to allow that spoof to stay up on youtube. It's a real turnoff and it hurt my opinion of Thor -- quite unfairly, since the scene apparently has nothing to do with Thor. If Marvel had any leverage, they should try to kill the spoof.

They might not even know about it. Or might not have leverage, the only Thor stuff in there is from the trailer, that’s public footage generally, the copyrighted stuff in there is owned by ABC. Of course Thor made 25 million bucks yesterday, so maybe they just don’t care.

Because it'd be dumb to track down every single fanmade video people splice together and put up on youtube. I presume that they believe that most people will have the good sense to know when they're looking at real footage from a movie and when they're looking at a spliced together fanjob. After all, according to some of the fan videos I've seen, Nathan Fillion is playing Hal Jordan in the new Green Lantern movie. Nevermind videos like that.

Disregard what that poster said. No such scene exists anywhere in the movie and is actually a scene from the television series Kyle XY with the same actress. There's nothing even close to a rape scene in the movie, and Sif never comes close to being naked.
Incidentally, I saw Thor yesterday with my family and we all thought it was fantastic.

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it. Couldn’t believe that my wife and I, plus one other couple (of course it was at a matinee), were the only ones to stay through the credits for the final tag scene. You’d think people would have learned to hang around by now. And worth it for a nice look at the... well, not sure I should give it away for those who haven’t seen it yet.

About half the audience in the theater I was in stayed for the after credits scene. And a good chunk of the ones that stayed had already gotten up to leave. I guess they stuck around when they saw that there were several groups of people who were still sitting and watching.
And yep, that WAS a nice, albeit brief, look at you-know-what. ;) I can't wait to see it in Captain America.

Can I assume from what I’ve read here that they’ve done away with the whole crippled doctor finding Mjölnir in a cave meme from the comic book?

Is there a second movie in theaters called “Thor”? I think Loki’s been messing with you.
