My point was only that the counterfeiter doesn’t need to make exact copies of circulating currency to be guilty of counterfeiting, only something that resembles it, as the Liberty Dollar coins do.

The law doesn’t seem to specify the amount of the “fine”. Sounds like they consider it to be equal to one’s holdings. Sort of like that joke 1040 form that asks how much you made, and then says “send it in”.

And if the law doesn’t give them what they need, they can just have King Barry issue an executive order, just as Roosevelt did.
