Closed course, through cones and some pretty tight driving. A lot of people wouldn't be able to drive this particular course like this. The coolest part is probably at the end where we see how the car recognizes its surroundings. Pretty unreal, and VERY cool.

If Google is smart, it will focus on correcting its “Instant Search” function instead of dabbling in the automotive industry where sharks lure about in a feeding frenzy of ideas created by unsuspecting newcomers.

That is because most people really suck at driving. Granted, I have several years experience in autocrossing (where you drive through courses marked off by pylons, although they’re usually more complex than that), but I could even drive their bone-stock Toyota through that course at that speed or better.
