Since when is it an “insult to the President of the United States” to codify into law a Constitutional requirement that is frequently misunderstood and that will apply to all future presidents, not just Obama? Liberals usually embrace that sort of thing, but only when it furthers their own agenda.

To democratic State Committee Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo ... it is obvious to her the U.S. Constitution is a pain in the a$$.

Democratic State Committee Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo agreed that the President cant be expected to jump through the same hoops we set up for everyone else. Hes the leader of the national government and that comes with special perks and privileges. .............................................................................. So the elite really do think that they are a class above the rest of us.

The dems are beginning to realize Obama was not born here....
Now, if we can only get GOP Radio to start taking the Obama Eligibility issue seriously...without attacking Birthers. Heck, GOP Radio covered the Obama’s Super Bowl Snack Menu more than they have covered the Birther issue
Even liberal Connecticut is stepping up. Its time for GOP Radio and the GOP in Washington to get with the program

Incredible that our Constitution can be completely ignored by these ignorant and traitorous bastards. As I recall, the Kelo decision effectively established the principle that the Constitution can be ignored in Connecticut.

Danbury Democratic Town Committee chairman Lynn Taborsak. Making laws to determine the eligibility of ordinary people to do things like drive a car or go to school in this state is a legitimate state responsibility. Determining whether a person is eligible to be President is not. The logic, or lack thereof, of these people knows no bounds. Holy crap!

EXCUSE ME!!!!!
He does seem to think he is some kind of king and we are all just the peasants that work for the government.
Elitist Ahole.

Wow, they’re quite sensitive there in CT about the prez not having to show his bona fides because it would be “insulting”. It seems as though they are not interested in maintaining our sovereignty over foreign influence...

I almost fell for it

an insult to the President of the Untied States. Translation: "We're guilty as hell of the Obama Hoax conspiracy, and we all know it, and you'll hang us when the truth comes out, and hanging us is not in our best interests."

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

an insult to the President of the Untied States. First, we have a usurper, not a president, that's why the bill is necessary.
0bama's supporters must believe he is not qualified, otherwise, why would they howl so loudly?

Taborsak said Democrats might be amenable to a compromise that grandfathers-in existing officeholders. Asking private citizens for proof of eligibility is a reasonable safeguard. Asking those already in office is an insult to them and the voters who put them there. I mean, what if it turned out that some incumbents dont meet the requirements? It would be a huge embarrassment. Thats something we definitely dont need right now.
YES WE DO. The rules are the rules, whether you followed them or not.

Imagine when we have “elected” officials saying it’s ‘insulting’ to request proof of eligibility if you want to become President of the United States.
