Most Americans have soundly rejected every crazy idea put forward by the liberal media regarding the root cause of the Arizona shooting.
A new theory is now being advanced by some in the media.
The phrase "blood libel" used by Sarah Palin in her video was really some kind of a super-secret code to be used as a signal to Palin's base.
Jennifer Epstein of Politco writes:
Sarah Palins use of the charged term blood libel may not have been an accidental blunder, but a deliberate dog whistle appeal to her evangelical Christian supporters for whom the expression has meaning, commentators and others are saying.
An interesting phrase - dog whistle. Either Epstein is alluding to the notion that those who support Palin are little more than dogs, or the phrase is so secret it can only be understood by those who speak her language. Either way, the notion is more than silly, it is insulting.
Epstein quoted Political Wire founder Taegan Goddard, who wrote while its not entirely clear what Palin intended, its possible she was trying to use dog whistle politics to speak to her religious base who often feel theyre an oppressed minority.
But according to some on the left, Palin is so stupid she doesn't even know what the term means, and Congressman James Clyburn said Palin was "intellectually unable" to understand the issue of rhetoric.
Epstein wrote that MSNBC host Ed Shultz spoke to this on his show Wednesday night:
Many people think shes used the term blood libel as an appeal to an extremist Christian conservative base for 2012
Just once, it would be nice if liberals got their messages right.

Spanky is chasing Buckwheat.
Darn it, they broke our secret signal.
OK, everyone, destroy your one time pads; our new code word is “Valentine’s Day”. Anytime you hear this term over the next month, you know it is our secret signal.
By the way, Blood Libel was already an active meme regarding this incident and the accusers days before Palin made her video.
A clear case of projection from the lockstep KoolAid drinkers who manage to all sound the same, except for the pronunciation and shrillness of their daily talking points.
Those that are controlled assume that all must be controlled and held incapable of free thinking.

“Dog whistle politics” LOL, that is actually pretty good, stupid in that she believes it with respect to Sarah, but a great new political term.
Man, I sure would hate to be a lib. All the freakish mental gymnastics and conspiratorial frettings day in and day out would be EXHAUSTING! No wonder they are mad as hatters.
Jeez, and folks say I need to get out more! At least I know my sky is blue!
“John has a long mustache.”
Peter Gay describes psychological projection as "the operation of expelling feelings or wishes the individual finds wholly unacceptabletoo shameful, too obscene, too dangerousby attributing them to another." According to Sigmund Freud, projection is a psychological defense mechanism whereby one "projects" one's own undesirable thoughts, motivations, desires, and feelings onto someone else. 'Emotions or excitations which the ego tries to ward off are "spit out" and then felt as being outside the ego...perceived in another person'
So now we’re supposed to be getting ‘secret messages’ from Sarah in her speeches?
We’ll know that’s true if a whole passel of churches across the nation have sermons on “Why the President needs to go bye-bye” this Sunday...or something like that.
I’m beginning to wonder of the whole PLANET has turned into a giant, orbiting nuthouse.
LOL! Thanks for letting us know. BTW, the chair is against the door.
Jennifer Epstein forgot to wear her tinfoil hat yesterday morning, allowing her to hear the “dog whistle.” The left possesses such great minds, like Congressman Clayburn, the intelligence assessor (”I think intellectually, she seems not to be able to understand what’s going on here.”) This brings to mind a quote from Dan Quayle: “A mind is a terrible thing to lose.”
I don’t know today’s ‘secret code’...
But the last phrase was code for ‘SIC ‘EM’ !!!
So go kick their buts into the next century.
My favorite Christian Secret Signal is “pot-luck”.
The left just tipped their hand again - what they accuse us of, is what THEY ARE DOING. Shall we assume 'vast right wing conspiracy' was one of their secret buzz phrases? I'm sure there are others.
In our case, Palin was describing an evil but effective technique liberal elites use against their victims :blood libel. Remember it - we struck a nerve with the evil ones.
"dog whistle"? That's a new one to me. Something that only those with hypersensitive ears can hear?

Oy Vey!
Yep I think you are right about the blood libel thing. Any time they become shrill and hysterical you know your doing something right.
Clymer is a self described intellectual. LOL
