I have a friend who is gay. He's not flaming, but he and his 'partner' have lived together for a decade or more. Knowing Jim served in the Army, I asked him what he thought of the repeal of DADT. Jim said this:
The Don't Ask Don't Tell policy, to me, was brilliant. You could still join, they wouldn't know, you didn't have to lie and you know you had boundaries. Was it perfect? Of course not, nothing ever will be. But the new law may open up cans of worms.
Jim opposed the repeal of DADT so, I guess Jim is 'homophobic".
So he doesn’t like the first amendment. I wonder how he feels about the 13th.
