This is very interesting.
BTTT & PING
I am surprised to see an idealogue like Obama to take a pragmatic approach today by shutting off the nude photo machines and the sexual assault groping.
We must have scared the Obama Marxists more than we realize.
Now we need to give Obama hell on other issues like Dream Act.
>>>>Interesting that they’d rather risk people’s safety
Like the enhanced procedure prevented anything...
Excellent!
There're ain't no security in reduced Rights and increased X-Ray doses. Besides, they won't catch any perps that way. Not only that, my fellow Americans are not my enemies. There is a very specific group of people who threatens airline safety.
PROFILE!
Looks like the TSA opted out. So, How much did the tax payers spend on these machines, to not use them? Is this about safety or control?
Sandbagging or Gaming the System? Either the numbers are fake.
Call me a cynic, but they must think there’s going to be an incident on a plane today or Friday. Maybe even on Thanksgiving day.

lulz
Yep, I suspected as much, with all the breathless stories out about “OpT Out Day” fizzling-—TSA preempted it!
Who wrote this?
The article says the TSA has a big government contract. The TSA is the government not a private contractor.
That is the problem. All these government agencies must be abolished and let the private sector alone. Each private airline would do their own security and people would choose what kind of security they want. The main difference between socialism and capitalism is private property.
As soon as I read that there had been few problems, I knew that they had backed down and were not doing the full scan and grope procedure.
Let’s keep them on the run.
The one time the American people actually attempt some REAL civil disobedience, the move to shut it down. Now they can continue to keep us on “ignore.” They know the majority are generally unwilling to engage in concerted action.
I am also interested in reading the number of people flying over today through Monday, as opposed to how many flew in that same time period in 2009 and 2008. I’ve decided not to fly for as long as these procedures are in place, and judging by multiple posts here and other conservative sites (AND on DU! ), it appears that many preferred to not fly at all, as opposed to “opting out” at the airport.
interesting
This just goes to show that they knew this wasn’t justified and they couldn’t sustain that claim.
Either they are putting the nation at risk today or they aren’t. If they were profiling like they should have been all along, there would be almost no risk today whatsoever.
That’s how Israel does it.
I suspect they didn’t want to have to deal with the inevitable long lines and delays today. A full court press couldn’t have wound up not making people miss their flights and causing major disruptions. THAT, they couldn’t and wouldn’t deal with.
A—holes!
