He should be suspended for this. It cheapens the authority of the mods.....and encourages nutcases to cheapen the reputation and ethics of this forum. It renders the true "banned or suspended" notices worthless.

I agree it may simply be a case of excellent screening and call selection.
I’ve listened to call in radio shows for over 45 years. I’ve never listened to a show like Limbaugh’s, in which even the hostile callers have a consistent level of articulation, voice quality, and a sort of central casting quality, depending on their role.
Let’s put it this way, I don’t think he can 100% rely on whoever calls that day, make the screening decisions in minutes, and get such an unwavering level of delivery.
Even the castrati guy yesterday sounded like someone putting on a lispy voice and reading from cue cards. Rush kept repeating how it wasn’t a put on. OK.

Mr. Limbaugh would not be the success he is if he played the timid card. His detractors on the Left (and Right) would rip him apart. BTW - he does not promote his generosity, but his friends, Mark Levin being one, have commented on his friendship, loyalty and his unselfish offers of help when needed.
As for me, I appreciate the ongoing support that Rush has shown in sponsoring and financially contributing to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He has raised and personally contributed millions of dollars to fund medical research for blood disorders. As a Leukemia patient, with a Father battling Lymphoma, I know the support that Rush has shown the organization is making a positive impact in many people's lives.
That's my opinion, and you are entitled to yours.

Which would include the bulk of his audience.
