...While it is not unusual for lame duck sessions to deal with routine, noncontroversial bills, or to legislate in times of national emergency, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid are convening congress with the explicit intention of ramming their noxious initiatives through while they still have the votes to do so. They are relying upon the votes of their colleagues who will not be returning next year due to massive public distaste for these very schemes. These defeated representatives are the walking dead, rising once more from the political graves they dug for themselves to feast upon the tax-dollars of the living. On November 15th, less than two weeks after their “demise,” they will return for the lame duck session becoming known as the “Zombie Congress.”

The coming Zomb-gress raises the danger that Americans could awake on Thanksgiving morning facing a newspaper full of putrid laws...

It'd be great if the putrid pelosie could NOT GET A QUORUM!

How many rat-corpses would have to join the Republicans and stay away to make that happen?

We need a constitutional amendment to the effect “No incumbent whose reelection has not been certified by their respective Secretary of State shall be permitted to vote in a lame-duck session”.

I suspect many of the long termers that were defeated won’t want to soil their nest for 2012. I don’t see them cooperating.

They’ve got “grief counselors” coming in to treat them. I don’t know what stage of it they’re in presently; most likely anger.

I am no politician, but, if I was a dem and had just witnessed what has happened, and I had an election coming up in 2 years, I am not sure I would jump on the ram it through bandwagon this time.

1. Immigration Reform (aka Democrat Voter Initiative)

2. Cap and Trade (aka Massive Consumer Tax Initiative)

3. Individual Retirement Account Conversion (aka Union Pension Benefit Guarantee Fund)

4. Value Added Tax (aka Miscellaneous Cleanup of Taxpayers' Extra Money Initiative)

My bet is two of the four pass before the real Congress convenes.

This is not about a difference of political opinion. It’s a fundamental battle between Good and Evil. Unfortunately, Obama’s and Pelosi’s side still retains enough power to continue to damage our country, which seems to be their goal.

She KNEW her seat was safe, so she SACRIFICED ALL OF YOU BLUE DOGS TO FULFILL her selfish, supreme ego and goals...
